Whistler Blackcomb on a Bluebird Midweek Day – And Everyone’s Here

It’s one of those perfect days on Whistler Blackcomb. Blue skies, fresh snow, no wind—just the kind of day we live for. But as I click into my snowboard bindings and glance at the lift line, I have to wonder… Did the entire city take the day off?

Midweek used to mean uncrowded runs and lap-after-lap bliss. But thanks to remote work, flexible schedules, and the ever-growing appeal of Whistler, the “quiet” days feel more like a long weekend rush. Whether it’s Vancouverites skipping the office for a powder day or international travelers extending their stays, the mountain vibe is shifting.

Still, once you’re up high, carving through untouched stashes in Harmony or Peak Chair, it’s all worth it. After all, sharing the stoke is part of the deal—right?

How do you handle the growing crowds? Secret stashes? Early starts? I have my secrets 😉
